Hi everyone,
I'd like to personally invite you to an exciting event on September 23rd, 2009....the CNYRIC Fall Open House:
"Creating the 21st Century School District"
Last year we featured Dr. Chris Dede from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and this year we plan to continue our keynote series by having other nationally recognized speakers on the topic of instructional technology. We will have a variety of one-hour workshops on current trends in instructional technology and school management, a host of product vendors, and, of course, a great lunch from the Dinosaur with accompanying music provided by students from one of our local schools. This is an open event for all of our participating districts in the region.
Superintendents, Curriculum Coordinators, Technology Directors, Business Officials and others will all find this event engaging and informative. Here's just a sampling of topics that will be discussed:
  • 21st Century Skills
  • Video Conferencing in the Classroom
  • Technology Supporting RTI
  • The Instructional Impact of Web 2.0
  • Data Tracking and Reporting
  • Voice & Data Management
  • Server Virtualization (live demo)
  • Mobile Student Data
and MORE
Please use this link to pre-register for the event: http://tinyurl.com/moqf4f
As the event date nears and we have filled the agenda, we will provide registration for individual sessions.
We look forward to seeing you!
